To achieve the delicate balance between providing engaging, newsstand quality content that builds brand loyalty for ACHICA, yet isn't seen solely as a sales tool.
Editorial Director John Smigielski, who is former Editor of 25 Beautiful Homes, brought together a bespoke team of interiors experts, including London Editor of Vogue Living Fiona McCarthy and former Features Editor of Elle Deco Rachel Leedham.
We've produced a magazine that features brands that will appear on the website, giving readers an exclusive glimpse of what's to come, as well as digesting the latest trends and providing advice. Plus we explore members' lifestyles through house and garden tours, restaurant reviews and travel features.
The result: a magazine that is lively, chatty, warm and fun at the same time as being informative.
The launch of ACHICA Living has created a buzz in the industry, with much talk about online retailers recognising the power of the traditional medium of print.
And we were delighted to receive calls from two leading interiors newsstand titles asking if we'd like to work in partnership, so another thumbs up from the industry.
It's not just the industry that has been excited by the launch. A recent survey showed ACHICA Living readers love their new quarterly magazine - a massive 79% of people said they most enjoyed the Gorgeous Home Guides, while 60% love reading about trends as well as getting expert advice.
Quentin Griffiths, co-founder of ACHICA, says: "We're delighted to be working with Axon to publish ACHICA Living, both in print and with an online version, which will give our members a broader offering and provide inspirational ideas for their home and lifestyle."
And, at Axon, we're delighted too, especially as we're adding ACHICA to a raft of existing clients including B&Q, M&S and Jamie at Home - which just goes to prove we are the place to go for expertise on homes.
