The final session of the day was introduced by Marie O'Riordan, editorial director, John Brown, who was editor on chief for eight years for Marie Claire. After lunch, the audience were treated to a session which looked at the ‘power of the story'.
First up on stage was Nick Morris, CEO of Canvas8, who gave the audience a visual on storytelling by comparing films Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and James Bond Skyfall. Read more »
The third session of the day focussed on how agencies could make money of their content in a world where content is so prevalent.
Nicola Murphy, CEO, The River Group took the stage first. Her key point was that consumer will pay for content that is relevant to them. Read more »

The third speaker was Matthew Guest from Deloitte Digital. Matthew began his talk by explaining how half a decade or so ago he worked for an agency whose prime aim was to kill off the media and empower consumers to create their own content. He now realises that he was wrong and that the media will continue in many forms. Read more »
