Twitter's Business Center gets rolled out

For three years there had been rumours that Twitter was on the verge of launching a service aimed at brands. These were confirmed earlier in the year and now it appears that the roll out of Twitter's Business Center has begun.

The micro blogging service is clearly driven by the fact that Facebook has been so successful in building pages for brands (if you are on Facebook take a look at then pages Speedo and Cobra Beer and look at the levels of engagement between brands and their fans) and wants to offer a rival service.
