ASA extends digital remit

APA has been closely involved in discussions leading to the ASA's extended digital remit, to ensure its members' editorial content does not inadvertently get dragged within the extended advertising self-regulatory system.

Marketing messages on social networking sites and advertisers' own websites are to be regulated by the Advertising Standards Authority from next year in an extension of the ASA's digital remit announced today. Read Full Article »
