Consumers show appetite for branded content through Apps

Owners of iPads want free apps that are associated with brands, according to new research by the APA (Association of Publishing Agencies). The research revealed that 73% of respondents would opt to download a free app associated with a brand over a non-branded paid for application, demonstrating the value branded content holds for consumers. APA's new iPad research gains huge media coverage

The APA's research conducted exclusively amongst iPad users is reported by a number of trades this week. The research highlights the appetite for branded content, with73% wanting free apps that are associated with brands, and looks at the implications these findings will have for brands.

Northstar iPad app for Alfa Romeo goes live

Northstar has developed an iPad app version of the Alfa Romeo UK Magazine, now live in the App Store.
