Cineworld Magazine gets a stylish makeover

The April issue of Cineworld's long-running free customer magazine features a stylish new redesign.

Published by Immediate Media Branded Content, the magazine is one of the UK's highest circulating film titles, with over 400,000 copies distributed monthly.

The redesign followed a major reader survey and creative review undertaken last year. The survey results indicated a strong desire for more preview content to help customers plan their Cineworld visits several months in advance. The research also revealed that the magazine was one of the three biggest influences on film-goers' choice of movies.

The redesign sees a complete overhaul of the magazine's cover, contents, front section, features and film listings - as well as the closing page, which now features an "In 5 Words" interview and quiz.

The 44-page April issue features new Tom Cruise sci-fi blockbuster Oblivion and Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man 3, as well as a special Family Films preview section.

"The readership of Cineworld Magazine is quite an even split between male and female," says Editor Pat Reid, "so we took inspiration from both men's and women's newsstand publications. The result is a hybrid that has an energy and a vibe all of its own."

Cineworld Magazine is free at all of Cineworld's 80 cinemas in the UK and Ireland. The iPad edition - which won the 'Best Mobile Content Solution (inc Apps)' Category at the 2012 CMA awards , and also won 'Entertainment Magazine of the Year' at the 2012 Digital Magazine Awards  - is also free, and available from The App Store.
