CMA Summit 2013: Welcome

Channel 4 Journalist and broadcaster Krishnan Guru-Murthy kicks off the CMA International Content Marketing Summit 2013. "Revolution is an overused word, but there is a content market revolution underway," he says.

"There are a number of platforms and there are several forms of content marketing which are expanding quickly. Print is thriving too."

Clare Hill, MD of the Content Marketing Association, claims the value of content marketing is now £5 billion a year - "about the same as the SEO market," she says.

Over 350 delegates are in attendance at the CMA Summit with 80 delegates coming from abroad 'which is a measure of how global content marketing is'. 60 content marketing agencies are present and 40 brands, with companies as diverse as Manchester United and IKEA.
