Content Marketing in the UK - share your thoughts with NewsReach

With 2013 just around the corner, NewsReach is asking marketers from across the UK to answer six simple questions on their content marketing plans for the year ahead as part of our Content Marketing in the UK survey.

2012 has been a significant year for content marketing in the UK as more brands invest in the power of content and the evidence of the returns from content marketing continues to stack up.

The survey will help build a picture of not just how brands are using content within their plans, but also how marketing departments are coping with the new demands content creation is placing on their resources and how people see the industry evolving further in 2013.

Early results already show the overwhelming majority of companies are planning to either maintain or increase their spend on content marketing over the next 12 months.

Hot issues expected to influence the practice of content marketing in 2013, according to respondents, include the impact of Google+ on social media strategies and SEO, and an increase in the production of white papers as more brands seek to emerge as industry thought leaders.

For NewsReach, 2013 will see us continue to evolve content strategies for our clients and lead the content marketing industry in the UK.

"2012 has seen thought-leadership come to the forefront for our larger and ambitious brands; white papers, infographics and research pieces have been in demand," said Head of NewsReach Laura Hannan. "2013 looks like it will be as fast-moving as ever; content marketing as a concept is maturing and we couldn't ask for a better start to the year with our partnership with Content Marketing Association."
