2012 has been a significant year for content marketing in the UK as more brands invest in the power of content and the evidence of the returns from content marketing continues to stack up.
The survey will help build a picture of not just how brands are using content within their plans, but also how marketing departments are coping with the new demands content creation is placing on their resources and how people see the industry evolving further in 2013.
Early results already show the overwhelming majority of companies are planning to either maintain or increase their spend on content marketing over the next 12 months.
Hot issues expected to influence the practice of content marketing in 2013, according to respondents, include the impact of Google+ on social media strategies and SEO, and an increase in the production of white papers as more brands seek to emerge as industry thought leaders.
