We will be seeing 2013 out with a bang! Our last Breakfast of the year on Weds 04 Dec will be future gazing into 2014 to see what will be high on the agenda for digital content.

  • Doug Kessler, Creative Director & Co-founder of Velocity, B2B marketing agency - Content Marketing: The Next Chapter. Content marketing has come a hell of a long way in the last year or so. But are we there yet? Doug will offer some thoughts about where the discipline is going and what you might want to do to get a jump on it... and not the usual 'Mobile, Social, Yadda-Yadda', he promises. Doug Kessler is the co-founder and creative director of Velocity the London-based B2B content marketing agency. He's written a lot on the topic, including the recent Slideshare, "Crap: Why the biggest threat to content marketing is content marketing." and "The Big, Fat Content Marketing Strategy Checklist".
  • Shane Richmond, Owner, Shane Richmond Media Ltd - Shane Richmond reflects on a year of paywalls and listicles in digital media and looks ahead to the rise in wearable technology, which will deliver content to our wrists, our glasses and ultimately directly into our brains.
    Shane is a technology writer, digital media consultant and the author of Computerised You: How Wearable Technology Will Turn You Into A Computer, launched by Amazon in September. Until spring 2013 Shane was in charge of technology coverage for the UK's Telegraph Media Group and his work has appeared in Stuff, T3 and The Independent. His consultancy clients include the World Economic Forum, and Nesta.
  • Stephen Lock, Product Manager, Linkdex - Influence & the Future of Digital Marketing: Influence marketing is one of the latest of a long list of buzzwords around digital marketing. Embracing influence as an organisation represents big opportunities for brands, and Steve will be looking at how to think a little differently about influence, stay ahead of the curve, future proof your business and build a team that will win.
    Steve is Product Manager for Linkdex, an innovative data and technology partner to leading agencies and brands around the globe. He is currently also the UK Co-Chair for SEMPO, the global SEM trade organisation.
