Digital team at Summersault Communications goes from strength to strength with four new appointments

Summersault logo Four highly experienced digital media experts have started working with Summersault Communications, the award winning employee and customer communications specialists, as it continues to expand the online side of its business to complement its well established traditional communications team.
 
All four new members of the team are seasoned practitioners within their respective areas of expertise and will report directly to Head of Digital Paul Squires. The digital team, based at the company's head office in Leamington Spa, is working closely with many of Summersault's top FTSE 500 and public sector clients.

Marcus Povey and Ben Werdmuller will take on the roles of Technical Leads where they will be jointly responsible for the technical and strategic development of Summersault's online platforms and offerings.

Marcus, a software architect, was part of the team that helped develop the open source social networking platform, Elgg, currently being used by Harvard University and the United Nations. During his career he also developed a secure medical platform used by hundreds of patients on various medical trials allowing operations to be streamlined, resulting in reduced costs and improved patient experience.

Web strategist Ben Werdmuller has 15 years experience developing sites and applications for the web and also worked on developing Elgg. Ben's area of expertise is in web communities and he has presented on the matter at several leading institutions around the world.

Christophe Langlois is the Social Media Practitioner in charge of social media strategy and planning. He has spent a substantial proportion of his career working in business development in the telecommunications and banking sectors. Christophe is an experienced presenter and regularly speaks at conferences around the UK.

A leading expert in the field of website, intranet and social media strategy, Kathryn Chin will take on the role of Digital Evaluation specialist, responsible for website and intranet evaluation and strategy. Kathryn's main experience lies in advising organisations on how to develop their brand, market products and build networks and connection.
