In 2013 the content Marketing Category was introduced to the Engage Awards for the first time. Despite it being the inaugural year for this category, it attracted both a great quantity and quality of entries, with Doritos and AMV BBDO overcoming tough competition to walk away with the trophy.
With storytelling and content marketing rapidly creeping up marketing agendas throughout last year and content marketing hitting the headlines there will be some brilliant case studies for the 2014 Awards.
Whether it is through print, video, mobile or social media, this year’s Content Marketing Category will highlight the great advancements that this marketing medium has seen in the past year. Other updates for the Marketing Week Engage Awards 2014
New Entry Deadline – has been pushed this back slightly to allow a couple of extra weeks during the most frantic time of the year. Entry Deadline is Tuesday 11th February.
New Ceremony Date – this year the Awards will take place on Thursday 26th June, the second day of the Marketing Week annual event, Marketing Week Live, giving you the perfect opportunity to round off two days of learning with a party to celebrate.

A bit of fun has been added to the Awards marketing campaign this year with a focus on what leading marketers childhood dream job was – often the qualities required for that job may well be what makes them a great marketer now. You can see some of best ones and submit your own, here.
