New appointment: Head of Marketing, The CMA

Maxine Poole joins The CMA on 9 June as Head of Marketing. Maxine joins us with 9 years of multi-channelled marketing experience including events, digital, direct marketing and communications and has an MA in Marketing.

Most recently Maxine worked in the not-for-profit industry on a Police owned crime prevention project, promoting the scheme to the trade through their membership organisation, government and consumers as well as steering through a government consultation. Maxine previously worked for Future publishing in subscriptions for some of the companies key titles including T3, Total Film and Classic Rock and was instrumental in introducing mobile apps to Future creating the Metal Hammer iPhone app. Prior to this Maxine worked at Haymarket, in subscriptions for Star titles such as Stuff magazine and contract titles such as Manchester United before becoming Brand Manager for Classic & Sports Car.  “We are all really excited to welcome Maxine to The CMA and with such a wealth of experience in both marketing and managing membership we look forward to Maxine helping us to drive this industry forward” Clare Hill, MD, The CMA.
