Progressive Customer Publishing gets four nominations at the PPA awards

Progressive Customer Publishing (PCP) and its flagship title economia have been nominated for four prestigious PPA Awards.

Launched in 2012, economia is circulated to members of the Institute of Charted Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is now the UK’s highest circulation monthly business magazine, with a global distribution of 160,000 leaders in business and finance.

Richard Cree has been shortlisted for Editor of the Year (Business Media) and Ewan Buck for Designer of the Year (Business Media), while the magazine itself has been shortlisted for Customer Magazine of the Year. PCP has also been shortlisted for Publishing Innovator of the Year (annual turnover under £10m).

Richard Cree, editor of economia, said “I am delighted for the entire team. Being shortlisted for these awards is fair recognition of the hard work, skill and dedication of the economia team.”

Dan Davey, managing director, PCP said “This is justified reward for some great creative work done on behalf of our clients by a young and dynamic agency. These awards represent everyone’s work. To get four shortlist nominations at the PPA awards within our first full year of publishing, against some of the biggest magazine media brands and businesses in the industry, is hugely gratifying and a pay-off for all the hard work put in by the teams at PCP and ICAEW. We hope we win something, but even a shortlist nomination itself at the PPA awards is very hard to get and is rewarding in itself.”

economia is a monthly magazine with an ABC-audited circulation of 159,908. It is send to members of ICAEW and those studying for the ACA qualification. The monthly print magazine is supplemented by a full multi-channel digital offering including an up-to-the-minute, news-based website, a weekly email newsletter and a well-received app for the iPad and iPhone.
