The publication, which will be aimed at people working in a range of management and research roles, is one of a number of thought leadership titles produced by REED for different industry sectors.
Cambridge-based CPL, which secured the contract following a competitive pitch organised via the CMA, will make the most of its links with sister company Europa Science as it develops the content for the quarterly publication.
Catherine Maskell, head of marketing for REED, said CPL's editorial and design expertise - as well as its experience in the science sector - had helped it win the business. ‘We are impressed by what we have seen of CPL, not least their understanding of our communications priorities, and we are looking forward to working with them on the first and subsequent issues.'
CPL managing director Mike Sewell added: ‘Being based in Cambridge, which is at the heart of Silicon Fen and perceived by many as being Britain's science capital, we are well placed to provide some effective and thought-provoking content for REED's new publication.'
The new title launches in September 2013.
