The presentation will look at how branded content engages a retailer's customers and can complement other initiatives such as loyalty programmes. A wide range of sources will be used, including insight from industry sources such as TGI and bespoke sources such as the unique APA Advantage Study.

Richard Perks, Director of Retail Research at Mintel will draw on Mintel's consumer research as well published economic data, to throw light on how the retail sector is performing and put it in context with the rest of consumer spending.
He will go on to make some forecasts for the rest of 2011 and the likely course of the recovery into 2012 and 2013.
