Seven launch app for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants

The UK’s leading content agency, Seven, is delighted to announce that the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants’ (CIMA) award-winning monthly member and student magazine, Financial Management, is now available to download as a free app.

The Financial Management (FM) app will deliver all the regular content from the magazine, plus exclusive app-only news, features, interviews, video content and study material. This will deliver everything students and members need to continue their CIMA studies and further their development. The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google play and Amazon.

Seven Group Editor B2B, Jon Watkins said:

‘The CIMA FM app will play a major role in helping us fulfil our multi-platform content strategy – ensuring the various CIMA audiences receive the most relevant content to them. It is a great opportunity to deliver valuable business and management accounting analysis to CIMA members and students more frequently, while at the same time extending it to a wider global audience. The flexibility of the app will also enable us to deliver content in an even more engaging and informative manner – not least through video, interactive infographics, photo galleries and audio.’

CIMA, which was founded in 1919, is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants, with more than 203,000 members and students in 173 countries.

Seven has worked with CIMA since 2010, evolving the institute’s editorial content from purely print to multi-channel. The agency engages all CIMA members and students through content and drives retention through web, print, apps, video, email, social and events.

Seven CEO Sean King said:

‘We’re delighted to bring CIMA to the market with the Financial Management app. It’s an exciting time for the CIMA and Seven partnership. With our global approach to content and monetisation, we’re really going from strength to strength.’
