Two CPL magazines shortlisted for awards

Two magazines launched in 2013 by CMA member CPL have been shortlisted in the Institute of Internal Communications’ Central Region Awards.

Inspire, which is created, written and designed for the charity Arthritis Care, is through to the final stages of the Stakeholder Publication category of the IoIC Awards. Some 10 million people in the UK have arthritis and the quarterly title is aimed at those with arthritis and their friends and family members.

Inspire has a vibrant, lifestyle feel and has already proved exceptionally popular with those wanting to learn more about the condition as well as improve their quality of life.

Meanwhile Impact, for the Market Research Society (MRS), has been shortlisted in the Print Design category, recognising the work of MRS editor Brian Tarran and the CPL design and production team in creating an authoritative and engaging 84-page, quarterly magazine.

This latest commendation follows hot on the heels of Impact’s success at the 2013 International Content Marketing Association awards where it scooped Launch of the Year.

CPL managing director Mike Sewell: ‘These two titles were among a number that we launched in 2013 following new contract wins and it’s great to receive more recognition of the excellent work of everyone involved.

‘Now we’re hoping to go on and win the overall category awards when the IOIC Central Region Awards take place on February 28.’
