As part of our ongoing monthly research presentations, this month we're exploring the issue of trust. Trust is a vital element to enhance readers and users and a core element of engagement. We've taken global research from Nielsen that demonstrates how content marketing delivers trust and relevance to a far greater extent than traditional communication.

Word of Mouth is a key area for marketers to understand. It's important for brands to know who is most likely to recommend and also who has a wide network to pass recommendations onto.

We've taken some recent research conducted in the US regarding word of mouth and used some TGI and Advantage Study data to build a picture regarding how likely readers of customer magazines are to recommend brands to others.

Attitudes towards direct mail

We've been able to access some Royal Mail research into attitudes towards direct mail. When looking at those who like to receive customer magazines, we are able to see that this group are more positive towards a number of different aspects regarding mail, such as special offers, loyalty and communication from favoured brands.

Deloitte report investigates world of branded apps

A recent repo from Deloitte looks at the potential market for mobile apps in years to come and also outlines the challenges brands face in terms of cutting through in this market. Finally, following some examples, they provide some snappy thoughts regarding the devlopment of apps in future. We have collated the more relevant details onto July's research presentation.
